Print Exchange – A Monthly Darkroom Tradition
The Film & Darkroom Collective Print Exchange is a monthly tradition for analog photographers who believe that photography should be shared — not just posted. Every month, members of the Collective are paired up to exchange handmade silver gelatin prints through the mail.
It’s a simple idea, but a powerful one: you make a darkroom print, send it to another photographer, and receive one in return. No competitions. No pressure. Just the joy of making and sharing meaningful work with people who truly care.
This exchange is exclusively for members of the Film & Darkroom Collective — a private community for photographers who are serious about printing, growth, and connection. It’s part of a bigger journey to unlock creative potential in the darkroom, together.
Each print you send represents your vision, your process, your hands. It’s a moment of real, analog connection in a digital world.
